Yup, that's me! I am a youthful 57-year-old woman and doing great! Born and raised in southern New Mexico, I am a Mexican-American which makes me a Latina and very proud of it! I now live in Arkansas on five acres of land where I enjoy flower gardening. I moved to the "Land of Opportunity" in 1983 and have been here ever since. I have the luxury of devoting time to my church and leisure activities which include gardening, music, crafts and talking about themes such as raising Toy Fox Terriers and beauty ideas. I started surfing the web in 1999 and quickly became addicted. I taught myself html (hypertext markup language). I still have a lot to learn and I'm getting there. But, I do enjoy bulding websites and surfing the web. Then, I found that I liked chatting with online friends and found an incredible site for women where I can converse with others on message boards. That's where I'm at now. I work on a women's internet site...iVillage.com as a volunteer community leader where I moderate a few message boards. I take great pride in helping others achieve their goals. I believe by helping others, we help ourselves. At iVillage, I encourage women of all ages to realize their potential, strive to be the best they can...and most of all to never under-estimate self-worth and capabilities.
